Prices and Pricing

Key principles of Eesti Firma’s pricing policy and our transparent approach to price formation.

Pricing policy highlights structured costs, demonstrating openness, value, and compliance with professional business standards.

Eesti Firma (legal name Eesti Firma OÜ, registration number 14164797, address Vesivärava 50, 10152 Tallinn, Estonia) adheres to the principles of full transparency and honesty in pricing. We believe that a client’s trust is built on clarity: every charge should be clear, justified, and agreed upon in advance.

This page provides a detailed explanation of Eesti Firma’s pricing principles, outlines our approach to determining the cost of various services, and clarifies why some services have individually calculated final prices. This information will help you understand in advance what constitutes the final cost, avoiding misunderstandings and unexpected expenses.

We also recommend that you familiarize yourself with our Terms and Conditions, which contain comprehensive information on the rules of service provision and the mutual obligations of the parties.

Why can’t all prices be fixed?

Some services can be estimated in advance and offered as a standard rate. However, many tasks require an individual approach, as their cost depends on numerous variables: the complexity of the project, the volume of documentation, the level of legal risk, the number of operations involved, or the urgency of execution.

We consider it unethical to publish average rates that could mislead clients, so we always calculate such services on a personal basis and explain exactly how the final amount is determined.

Principles of Eesti Firma’s Pricing

We have developed a clear system for determining costs, built on trust, clarity, and respect for the client. These basic rules underlie all of our proposals:

  • Transparency – every expense item has a justification; hidden fees are excluded.
  • Individual approach – pricing is tailored to the business’s actual needs rather than one-size-fits-all packages.
  • Predictability – the client knows the final cost before work begins.
  • Flexibility – if project conditions change, the cost is adjusted only with the client’s agreement.
  • Professionalism – prices are based on our experts’ experience and conform to industry standards.

Factors influencing the cost

Pricing takes into account a whole range of factors:

  • The scope and complexity of the work;
  • The number of hours required and the qualification level of specialists involved;
  • The need for external expenses (state fees, notary services, translations);
  • The level of legal liability and associated risks;
  • The urgency and priority of completion;
  • Any additional client requests.

Pricing models

Depending on the nature of the task, we use different pricing models:

  • Fixed price for standard and simple services;
  • Hourly rate for consultations and flexible processes;
  • Project-based estimate for complex and long-term solutions.

In all cases, the client is given a clear understanding of what is included in the price, under conditions agreed upon in advance.

Illustrative nature of prices on the website

All prices published on the Eesti Firma website are for informational and illustrative purposes only. The final and legally binding price offer is always the amount specified in the individual quote, invoice, or contract agreed upon with the client.

Price guarantee

The agreed price remains unchanged for 30 calendar days from the moment it is offered, unless otherwise explicitly stated in the individual offer. The price also remains valid throughout the entire payment period specified in the contract or invoice.

However, if the client changes the scope or nature of the order, the cost may be revised. This approach guarantees stability and predictability of financial terms for both parties.

Ethical aspect

We consider honest and responsible pricing to be an integral part of our work. At Eesti Firma, there are no hidden fees, artificial markups, or attempts to upsell services that the client does not need. Every charge reflects the actual volume of work and the level of responsibility we take on. This approach aligns with best business practices and strengthens the trust between us and the client.

Individual approach to pricing

Discussing pricing is part of our service. We are always open about prices and encourage clients to ask questions about how costs are determined. This individual approach forms the foundation of Eesti Firma’s pricing model. We do not attempt to fit different situations into one template—on the contrary, we consider it our duty to tailor our offer to the specific request. In financial and legal services, trust and transparency are key quality factors, which is why we detail exactly what makes up each invoice.

Full Control Over Costs: No Surprises

How is this implemented in practice? First, at the initial inquiry, we gather information about your needs and propose the optimal solution in terms of service and price. If the service is standard and has a fixed rate, we will quote that price immediately. If the case requires analysis, we prepare a preliminary estimate or price range. We always clarify which tasks are covered by the quoted sum, and which (if necessary) are charged separately. Second, we do not impose unnecessary services. You pay only for what your business truly needs at the moment.

We also practice phased approval of expenses. In long-term projects (for example, legal support for a complex transaction or ongoing accounting outsourcing), the cost may depend on how the situation develops. We inform the client about each stage of work and the associated expenses. You always maintain control over the budget and can decide how to proceed.

Our goal is to build a trusting relationship with the client, where the price of the service is clear, fair, and seen as an investment in business success rather than an unforeseen burden. Many clients note that a thorough discussion of costs upfront significantly increased their trust in us as partners. You can always ask us to clarify any invoice or calculation — we will readily provide a detailed breakdown and justification.

VAT and Tax Considerations in Pricing

Please note that all prices listed on the website do not include Value Added Tax (VAT). Our company is registered as a VAT payer in Estonia (EE102081480, verifiable through the VIES system), therefore we add VAT to invoices in cases prescribed by law. As of July 1, 2025, the standard VAT rate in Estonia is 24%.

However, VAT is not applied to all transactions, only when required under EU and Estonian regulations. Below are a few illustrative scenarios:

  • Client – a company or individual from Estonia: 24% VAT is added to all our services for Estonian residents. For example, if a consultation costs €100, you will pay €124 (€100 + VAT). We then remit this tax to the Estonian state budget.
  • Client – a company from an EU country (outside Estonia) with a valid VAT number: no VAT is charged. According to intra-EU service trade rules, the reverse charge mechanism applies — you pay only the net amount, and the VAT is handled in your country. For example, a client from Germany with a valid VAT ID is invoiced €100, with no Estonian VAT added.
  • Client – from a non-EU country (any organization or individual): no VAT is charged, as the services are considered exported from the EU. You pay only the agreed price, with no tax on top. For example, a client from the USA pays exactly €100 for a service priced at €100.

Thus, many foreign clients pay for our services without the addition of Estonian VAT. We always specify the price excluding VAT in the contract and invoice, clearly listing the VAT amount as a separate line item if applicable. All VAT nuances are explained in advance. If you are unsure whether your situation is subject to VAT, we will help clarify it. Our main goal is to eliminate price surprises for the client. Transparency in tax matters is just as important as transparency in the base cost of the service.

Conclusion

Eesti Firma’s pricing policy is based on honesty and openness. We view pricing not as a mere formality, but as a transparent tool that helps clients anticipate expenses and build solid plans.

If you have any questions about how a cost is calculated, we are always ready to explain every item and provide an individual estimate.
